Success: Ceramic Innovation Drives Industrial Decarbonisation
What began in 2021 as an early development partnership with a university spin-off has today become a tangible contribution to the decarbonisation of industrial processes. The goal was to develop high-performance ceramic components for an innovative, electrically powered alternative to carbon-intensive industrial solutions – a technology with the potential to fundamentally transform conventional processes.
In close collaboration, the components were developed, tested, and systematically refined across multiple development cycles. Following successful testing and validation phases, the first customer order was placed in 2025 – a significant milestone for both partners.
This project demonstrates how long-term development partnerships can turn climate-relevant innovations into industrial reality and actively accelerate sustainable transformation.
