CeramTec celebrates 50 years of ceramic implant dentistry

With its in-house exhibition “CeramTec: 50 Years in Ceramic Implant Dentistry,” CeramTec is celebrating half a century of expertise and innovation in its Dental business. 

The in-house exhibition “CeramTec: 50 Years in Ceramic Implant Dentistry” offers a unique look at the history of CeramTec’s Dental business and traces the development of ceramic implant dentistry across five decades. It follows the journey from early BIOLOX® dental implants in the 1970s to modern ceramic implant systems.

Visitors can explore milestones from different stages of this journey through historical implants, technical drawings, archived documents and development records. The exhibition also features ZERAMEX® ceramic implant systems, highlighting their evolution across multiple generations since 2009.

Open to professionals, partners, customers and media representatives, the exhibition makes an important part of CeramTec’s innovation history accessible through original artifacts and documentation.
