CeramTec announces change in leadership

After ten years as Managing Director with CeramTec, including seven years as CEO, and with the company well positioned for its next phase of growth, Dr. Hadi Saleh has decided to step back from day-to-day operations and will move into a non-executive director position as part of the Supervisory Board.

We are very pleased to announce that Dr. Carla Kriwet has been appointed as Dr. Saleh’s successor. She will join CeramTec in July 2025, with a clear transition plan in place to become CEO and President Medical latest by the end of 2025.

Dr. Kriwet brings a wealth of experience in leading successful global businesses at the forefront of their industries – including as CEO of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, CEO of Fresenius Medical Care AG and CEO of the Connected Care division at Philips N.V..

Dr. Saleh and Dr. Kriwet will work closely together to ensure a smooth and effective transition for CeramTec and all stakeholders prior to the end of 2025.
