CeramTec invites to know-how transfer in Ebersbach

Seminar “Hard turning for industrial manufacturing”

The Cutting Tool Division of the CeramTec Group will be hosting the seminar “Hard turning for industrial manufacturing” in the german-speaking area in November 2018. The one-day seminar will focus on machining strategies and processes as well as innovative tool solutions for hard turning.

The economic and technological requirements for hard turning processes are continuously increasing. Tool manufacturers take on the new challenges by developing adapted machining strategies, cutting materials and tooling systems.

The seminar for hard turning shows how modern hard-turning tasks can be made economically viable through technological measures, for example for drawing cuts or peeling cuts. The event is intended for managers and senior employees in the area of manufacturing planning and production planning as well as for production personnel.

Experienced specialists from CeramTec will use a variety of examples to demonstrate the use of cutting materialsadapted to the materials to be machined. The high level of practical content will allow participants to apply their new knowledge quickly. Detailed live demonstrations at the CeramTec test centre will illustrate the new machining processes. The event will be completed by insights into the production facility of CeramTec.

This one-day seminar will be held on 8th and 9th of November 2018 in Ebersbach. The participants may choose the most convenient date for their participation.
