Seal of Quality of the German science and technology foundation Stifterverband

After winning the award for 2016/2017, CeramTec once again received the “Innovativ durch Forschung” (“Innovative through Research”) seal of approval from the German science and technology foundation Stifterverband for 2018/2019 as well. This puts the ceramics experts among the less than one percent of German companies who are actively engaged in research and development in order to ensure their future viability and that of the entire country – because only those who conduct research can develop new products and create innovation and growth.

Stifterverband is one of the largest private promoters of science in Germany, and for the award presentation it evaluates internal company expenses and budget planning for research and development, among other things. Other core indicators are the R&D personnel, the regional distribution of research facilities and key business figures. The R&D data collected is also used by the Federal Government as a decisive basis for the further development of its economic, innovation and technology policy.
