Ceramics Experts win the Triple
CeramTec's ceramics experts have received the MINT Minded Company award for the third time. This determines who is perceived as a particularly attractive employer in this target group in a survey of students and graduates of MINT subjects. MINT refers to the subjects of mathematics, information technology, natural sciences and technology.
More than 15,000 MINT talents took part in this year's survey - a clear indication of the relevance of MINT employers among the young academic target group. The award is presented by a cooperation of the initiative "MINT Zukunft schaffen," (“creating future with MINT”) which was launched by Dr. Angela Merkel a few years ago, and its media partner and board of trustees member “audimax Medien”.
"MINT Zukunft schaffen" has set itself the goal of combating the existing shortage of skilled experts in the German economy in the field of scientific and technical professions, thus securing and strengthening Germany as a business site. It is particularly noteworthy that this award is given purely on nomination by MINT graduates and cannot be purchased.
"The most important component of our innovative capability is well-trained, visionary young people - this applies not only to our company, of course, but to Germany as a whole. That's why I'm particularly pleased that CeramTec is an attractive employer, especially for students with a scientific and technical orientation. Personally, I can say that I have found my professional home at CeramTec. This is due in particular to our high-performance ceramics material, which has incredible potential in both medicine and industry and is already used today in countless applications - often invisibly as a "hidden champion". I am happy that so many young people are also open to the fascination of advanced ceramics," says Dr. Hadi Saleh, CEO of the CeramTec Group.
